The Blue coat school is a stunning piece of English renaissance architecture which was completed in 1906 in Wavertree, Liverpool. Paul Renshaw Joinery have built upon a relationship with the school over a period of years planning, manufacturing or refurbishing and installing a variety of specialist window and door products to suite the specifications of English Heritage and the schools Grade 2 listed status.
The technically challenging and highly specific nature of this project requires a company willing to take extra time and care t replicate exactly historic profiles. Glazing with heritage approved glass in traditional ‘leaded lights’ with original metal casements refurbished down to original solid brass stays, fasteners and hinges. A variety of casement windows, traditional box sash windows and large feature windows have been replaced or refurbished on this building and we are very proud to say the client is very satisfied with all works undertaken.
